An opthamolagist's assistant losing his sight is hypnotized by his controlling mother (played by Zelda Rubenstein, the ghost hunter of Poltergeist fame or the psychic from Teen Witch) goes on killing spree, stalking victims and collecting their eyes to bring back to his mother. Straightforward plot, or so it would seem. Atmospheric visuals pair with a plot that unfolds to reveal a hall of mirrors within, a creatively structured film that exceeds audience expectations of the slasher horror genre.
